Approximately 70,000 people were displaced due to the wildfire that destroyed homes. Anthony Marone, the head of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, faced significant challenges in fighting the fire. The Pacific Palisades fire destroyed more than other areas like Altadena, located north of Los Angeles. Homes were burnt to the ground, and casualties continued to rise. The total burnt area reached around 108 square kilometers, nearly the size of San Francisco.

Scientists warned that human activities were altering weather patterns, exacerbating severe conditions. The fire spread from east to west, worsening the situation. Several Hollywood celebrities, including the Hilton family and Billy Cryal's family, suffered losses, with Dylan Vincent feeling a sense of emptiness left by the fire.

The Palisades fire engulfed other populated areas in Los Angeles, consuming vast land areas. Controlled fire points at the base spread to expansive areas, impacting the northern city's outskirts. 89% of the fire and three other controlled blazes affected 100,000 people in Los Angeles County, a decrease from the previous high of 150,000. Additionally, 87,000 others were evacuated, causing insured losses of approximately 130 trillion US dollars.

Efforts in firefighting and assessing the weather conditions and climate change impacts were ongoing. Investigations into the initial causes revealed no concrete evidence yet.
